# Replay a Delivery

> Send a retained event to the endpoint again.

Sends the delivery's event to the endpoint again as a new delivery, and returns its ID in `{ "delivery": { "id": "whd_…" } }`. Use it after fixing your receiver.

The endpoint must be enabled, verified and still subscribed to the event type. Otherwise the request returns `409 WEBHOOK_REPLAY_BLOCKED`. Events older than 30 days can't be replayed and return `404`.

This request requires an `Idempotency-Key` header and has no body, so omit `Content-Type: application/json`. A retry with the same key returns the same delivery ID.
